Stage6 engine pressure/ leak test kit.
A must have kit in any workshop, quickly find leaking crankcases, reed-valves, gaskets & seals with this kit. A pressure checked engine can save a lot of time in the long run, it guarantees maximum power and makes carburettor tuning reliable, with the omission of air leaks. For tuners that leave nothing to chance, this is the kit for you.

25mm, 28mm, 35mm & 39mm.

To use the kit:
Seal the exhaust flange with the rubber patch. (some exhaust manifolds, must be sealed another way (AM6 etc.) requiring a plug)
Seal the spark plug thread with a Stage6 dummy plug or a spark plug.
Seal the intake manifold with an appropriate size Stage6 orange plug.
Now sealed the engine can be pressurized with compressed air to 7-12PSI (Do not over pressurize the crankcases!)
After a minute check the pressure again, if the pressure has not dropped the engine is correctly sealed.
If the pressure drops you have a leak, re-pressurise the crankcase and leaks can be located with a little help from soapy water or similar leak detector fluid.
