The PRO variator is a true revolution in variator design with the traditional rolling weight system abandoned in favour of their new design. The advantages of the J.Costa variator means improved performance and economy across the rev range, less wearing parts reduce the friction which reduces heat and increases the power available at the back wheel.

This variator has been designed to have a long service life; the plastic sliders found on traditional variators are no longer needed, the low friction bush and pin can be easily replaced and J.Costa variator weights have wear indicators so you can easily identify worn weights.
