This manual choke lever conversion kit is designed to convert compatible carburettors from automatic choke to manual choke operation.
Suitable for Dellorto PHVA-type carburettors and also compatible with Gurtner carburettors. It fits virtually all carburettors where the automatic choke is secured with a 2-bolt horseshoe-style clip, including many Yamaha Aerox, Piaggio and Peugeot 50cc scooters.

Hi, no- manual chokes like this are completely on or completely off hence no need for the needle as there are no mid-positions.
On a performance engine you would normally warm up the bike and then switch off the choke completely before riding. A standard auto choke switches off slowly over a few minutes when you start riding the bike but this isn't ideal on more highly tuned engines.
