This is the famous Malossi aluminium 172cc cylinder kit all time classic for Piaggio liquid cooled mopeds - full aluminium kit with 6 transfer ports, complete piston kit and all the needed gaskets for fitting. 

Developed through years of competition experience on the Gilera Runner, the Malossi cylinder kit is designed to convert a 125cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine into a 180cc-class powerhouse.

Built for reliability and durability, the kit provides excellent thermal dissipation even under prolonged, demanding use, helping maintain consistent engine temperatures and performance over time.

The redesigned cylinder head features a truncated-cone combustion chamber with a centrally positioned spark plug, an enlarged exhaust duct and a third transfer port opened directly into the crankcase. Together these improvements deliver an additional 3HP compared with the previous version.

The kit works perfectly with the original exhaust system, while maximum performance is achieved when paired with the Malossi MHR Scooter Racing exhaust.
