Plasti Dip® rubber coating spray: protects, rubberizes, coats, seals, reduces vibration, marks, and provides anti-slip coating. Remains flexible even under severe conditions. Plasti Dip® rubber coating does not become brittle and won’t chip or crack. It resists abrasion and moisture as well as salts, acids, alkalis and most chemicals. Plasti Dip® rubber coating adheres to nearly all materials and surfaces. Perfect for a quick repaint of fairing panels and wheels!
The coating is weatherproof, waterproof, UV resistant and silicone free. After drying, it is permanently elastic, odourless and can be peeled off; extremely adhesive in combination with the Plasti Dip primer!

NOTE: Rubber coating temperature range: -34°C to +93°C; problems may occur with scooter parts that are subject to high heat, e.g. wheels with drum brakes.

Question
  • Q. Can this be used to repair worn heels on trainers?
  • A.

Thank you for your interest in our Rubber coating paint, I hope this reply meets your satisfaction and clears up any questions you have regarding our product:

Plasti Dip rubber coating adheres to nearly all materials and surfaces so it should be able to be used on most types of shoes with out a problem but to guarantee it I would need to know the make, model and year of your current shoes and whether it's the left or right heel you are repairing.

It is a rubber coating that does not become brittle and won’t chip or crack. However i would not recommend it for use where you have to do a lot of walking, for that i would recommend going for one of our more robust road-tyre options. These are a lot longer lasting and will provide a more even and tougher finish once fitted to your shoes together with outstanding handling in the wet.
