The Malossi RS24/10-R rear shock is a high-performance, oil-gas suspension system developed in collaboration with Paioli. Designed for racing applications, it offers precise adjustability and superior damping capabilities.
Features:
-Material: Constructed entirely from Ergal, except for the stem and spring, ensuring lightweight durability.
-Shock Type: Oil-gas suspension with a separate compensation tank.
-Bearings: LUBRIFLON PTFE B70 bronze-loaded piston guide and DU GUIDE bushing for precise sliding.
-Seals: SEALTHANE 9345 polyester resin scraper ring.
-Oil: Special low-viscosity oil, minimally affected by temperature changes.
-Adjustable Spring preload with micrometric ring nuts.
-24-position extension damping.
-Double compression damping with 10 positions each for low and high-speed adjustments.
-Piston: 36 mm with two independent laminar packs for compression and expansion.
-Rod: 14 mm Ø in 38 NiCrMo4UNI 7845 steel, hardened and tempered with a 25–30 µm hard chrome layer (surface hardness HRC 55/60).
