The BGM PRO auxiliary shaft for Vespa Largeframe engines is designed to handle the extreme loads of modern performance cylinders like the Malossi MHR, Quattrini M244, or Pinasco 251. Crafted from high-grade 21NiCrMo2 steel and case-hardened to 62 HRC, it offers a tough core with a wear-resistant surface for long-lasting reliability under high torque.

Gear Gradations (1st–4th):

• Original (standard): 12-13-17-21

• Racing (Short 3rd / Extra-Short 4th): 12-13-16-19

• Sport (Short 4th): 12-13-17-20

Fewer teeth per gear at the same centre distance result in wider, stronger teeth. BGM gradations optimise power delivery depending on engine setup:

• Racing: is ideal for high-revving engines or very long primary reductions, keeping the motor in the powerband with shorter steps between 2–3 and 3–4 gears.

• Sport: suits torquey engines, improving the 3–4 gear transition while pairing with stronger 4th gear for maximum durability.

For best performance and reliability, it is recommended to use in combination with BGM PRO clutches and straight-cut primary drives, designed to handle high torque without excess noise.
