Vespa ET4, LX50,125cc (4T)

The Vespa ET4 was introduced in 1996.
The ET4 was first introduced with a 125cc 4-stroke air-cooled Piaggio LEADER engine. In 2000 the ET4 was introduced with a 50cc air-cooled 4-stroke Piaggio HI-PER4 engine. The ET4 used 10 inch wheels in conjunction with a front hydraulic disc brake and rear cable-operated drum brake. In 2005 the LX range was introduced and production of the ET range ceased. The LX was produced with a 4-stroke engine in both 50cc and 125cc. 50cc versions of the 4-stroke LX were produced with a 2-valve version of the Piaggio HI-PER4 engine until 2008 when the production of the 50cc LX continued with a 4-valve version of Piaggio's HI-PER4 engine. 125cc versions of the LX were produced with a Piaggio LEADER engine until 2012 when production of the 125cc LX continued with Piaggio's 4-stroke 3-valve LEM engine. The Vespa LX uses an 11 inch front wheel and 10 inch rear wheel in conjunction with a front hydraulic disc brake and rear cable operated drum brake. In 2013 the Vespa Primavera was introduced and production of the LX range ceased.
