Genuine Athena derestricted performance CDI unit for Honda X8R mopeds.
The standard Honda X8R CDI is heavily rev restricted and is the main restriction item on this scooter.

Unfortunately there is no way to properly derestrict (or start tuning) the X8R without first replacing the stock CDI.

This Athena CDI is fully adjustable and the derestriction can be switched on or off with the included toggle switch.
