Adjustable CDI unit for Peugeot V-Clic/ Kisbee scooters, this CDI unit is made by Motoforce Racing and fits V-Clic plus a few other Chinese 4-stroke engines.
This CDI unit has a small set screw, with which you can adjust the ignition timing of the engine.
Turning the screw clockwise will advance the ignition (sparks earlier), anticlockwise retards is.
This allows you to fine tune the acceleration and engine running take. Particularly useful for tuned engines!
In default configuration, the adjustment screw is in the centre position. Then you can rotate about 12-13 full turns to the right or left. The respective stop is reached when a slight click is heard.
WARNING: adjusting your ignition timing can damage your engine, this CDI is for advanced users and should not be used unless you know *exactly* what you are doing!!!

the ignition system on V-clic is identical across all the V-clics so all the cdi's are the same, there is no choice of 'DC' or 'AC' version
The V-clic cdi actually uses both an AC and a DC supply, see here.
