The variator comes adjusted for use with a 50cc cylinder and a sport exhaust system. It has been developed and optimised for use with sport cylinders with larger displacement though. The back of the variator and the roller tracks are hard coated, the running surface is, however, uncoated. On the one hand this reduces the running surface's lifespan, on the other hand the increased friction coefficients result in better performance. Furthermore, the coating cannot flake off, as it may happen with hard coated running surfaces, which would lead to quicker wear or even breaking of the drive belt.

Included in this kit are the variator with bushing, back plate with low-friction coating, shims, a set of roller weights (16x13) and a torque spring.
